Historical Fiction Bestsellers: Week of Oct. 6

The following titles are shown in order of appearance from
USA Today's Top 150:

The Help  In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster  The Night Circus

Legacy  A Lawman’s Christmas  Sarah’s Key

Seduction of a Highland Lass  Water for Elephants  Nightwoods

The Paris Wife: A Novel  Fall of Giants  Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue

To Kill a Mockingbird  Chelynne  Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet

These are the books I consider to fall under the large umbrella of the historical fiction genre. Fifteen books out of 150. The Help got bumped from its ten-week run at number one and landed at number two this week. Several new releases scored high spots on the list, and historical romances continue to be hot, hot, hot!

As always, write for yourself, but it never hurts to keep an eye on what's selling in today's market!
