Historical Fiction Bestsellers: Week of Oct. 27

The following titles are shown in order of appearance from
USA Today's Top 150:

The Help  Legacy  The Lady of the Rivers

The Dovekeepers  The Night Circus  Sarah’s Key

The Viper  The Paris Wife: A Novel  Scandalous Desires

In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster  Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children  Water for Elephants

A Lawman’s Christmas  Fall of Giants  To Kill a Mockingbird

   Nightwoods

These are the books I consider to fall under the large umbrella of the historical fiction genre. Sixteen books out of 150. That's two more than last week, but still down from an impressive genre presence of twenty two weeks ago. Have you read any of these titles?

As always, write for yourself, but it never hurts to keep an eye on what's selling in today's market, and to take a look at what these authors are doing right!
