Historical Fiction Bestsellers: Week of Feb. 2

The following titles are shown in order of appearance from

  A Lady Never Surrenders  11/22/63

Water for Elephants  Death Comes to Pemberley  Sins of a Wicked Duke

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children  Child 44  Sarah’s Key

The Paris Wife: A Novel  The Night Circus  The Great Gatsby

To Kill a Mockingbird  Death of Kings  Clockwork Prince

Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet  The Woman in Black

These are the books I consider to fall under the large umbrella of the historical fiction genre. Seventeen books out of 150. That's two more than last week, and still down from the impressive genre presence of twenty in the top 150 sixteen weeks ago. Lots of new blood on the list this week, including two new romances, a movie tie-in, and a couple of old favorites!
