Historical Fiction Bestsellers: Week of October 4

The following titles are shown in order of appearance from
USA Today's Top 150:

Winter of the World  The Lady Risks All  Fall of Giants

Never Seduce a Scot  The Light Between Oceans  How to Capture a Countess

My Scandalous Viscount  Greatest Knight: The Unsung Story of the Queen's Champion   Rules to Catch a Devilish Duke (Scandalous Brides, #3)

Dodger  11/22/63  Cloud Atlas

To Kill a Mockingbird  The Great Gatsby  Lord of Temptation

The Night Circus  The Shoemaker's Wife  Sutton

Eighteen titles this week--a very good week for the genre and four more than last week! A great week for historical romances, too, with six on the list. One of my favorites, Elizabeth Chadwick's The Greatest Knight, appears on the list for the first time since its publication in 2009, Terry Pratchett's newest, Dodger, debuts at number seventy-five, and another new release, Sutton, rounds out the list at number 144.
